 A Very Disappointing Product Aug 14, 2008
This is simultaneously the most expensive and worst dryer I've ever owned. I bought it for my wife along with the matching front-load washing machine as a surprise. She was very pleased with the looks. I'll have to also admit that it's good looking for a laundry appliance.
But that's where the positives end. In my 60 plus years I've owned a several dryers, including some quite cheap but functional ones. This one takes the cake. It just doesn't work! Clothes have to be run a minimum of two times to get remotely dry.
If you are solely into cosmetics, then this is the dryer for you. If you want one that actually dries your clothes, then look elsewhere.
BTW the matching washer works OK -- no better or worse than the much less expensive one that I use at my country home.

We chose this dryer because it could be stacked on top the matching washer, thus saving space in our small laundry room. Have had no troubles with the stacking, is a stable connection.
Also chose this dryer because it had a larger capacity than our old dryer.
Some things we wish we'd known before purchasing this dryer:
It takes forever to dry a load of clothes. I can wash a few loads in the time it takes this dryer to dry one load.
I must vacuum the dryer lint trap area at least once a month. I empty the lint trap after every load as recommended, but because all the lint does not stick to the trap, vacuuming is a necessity. Dryer stops working if it feels this area has too much lint accumulated, and it doesn't take much for it to sense this and shut down.
Overall, it has average performance. I like the stackable feature and the larger capacity than I was used to with my older appliance. However the vacuuming and long drying time are definite draw backs to consider when purchasing this dryer.
